Wildfires in texts are still going. they have burned around a million acres, one firefighter has been killed and many are hurt. they are doing all they can to control the flames. firefighters from all over have volunteered to help the ones in texas. Hopefully it stops soon

on monday, japan experience another earthquake. it wasn’t as big as the first one, and didn’t do to much damage. 

No Fly Zone

The authorization establishes a ban on all flights in Libyan airspace to help protect civilians. The exceptions are:

 Flights by U.N. member states for the purpose of enforcing the flight ban

 Humanitarian flights (such as those delivering medical supplies, food and humanitarian workers)

 Any flights “which are deemed necessary” by nations enforcing the no-fly zone.

– U.S. military officials have said that a no-fly zone would typically be enforced by fighter jets.

The 4 journalist that were captured in Libya, have been released and are safe. Militaries want to put the ‘No Fly Zone’ over Libya to protect the civilians. Other then that the civil war there is still going on and dose not look like it’s getting any better…

Hillary Clinton was in Egypt and she told the Egyptian Officials that the U.S would send over $90 million in emergence financial assistance, but things the U.S. shouldn’t be the only ones and it should be an International effort.

An 8.9-magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan on Friday, March 11, that then triggered a tsunami that washed away nearly everything in its path. More then 60 countries are sending aide over to japan. Some are sending rescue dogs to help look for missing people, machinery that will help clear the mess, and mobile health clinic type things.

Today on the CNN Student news The Discovery Space Shuttle landed for the last time. It has been going for 30 years and has spent 365 days in space all together. Now it is retired and will be going into a Museum.

In the student news today they said something about not allowing planes to fly over Libya, I don’t see how that is going to help any thing going on there….
